You might be doing alright but could you do better?

If your business is lucky enough to be doing alright in the current climate then you’ve probably got enough sales?

In this scenario you still may be doing things as you’ve alway done and hence there may be room for improvement - opportunity for more profit. Perhaps you should ask:

• Are your processes OK and understood/used throughout the business?
• Are you in control or do you still get surprises?
• Can you identify areas of waste in your business or business processes?
• Is your organisation fit for purpose? Ensure you have relevant roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.
• Could your customer service be improved?

I could go on but the real message is “be continually disatisfied”.
